You will have knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in software development, and cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, AWS
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as a code with Ansible, Shell, Python, Puppet or Terraform
  • Knowledge of any of these programming languages - Nodejs, Python
  • Knowledge of test-driven development, writing test cases, integration testing, etc.
  • Experience with CI CD pipelines and automation
  • Thorough understanding of Microservices frameworks, Docker, Containers, Kubernetes
  • You will have experience or familiarity with tools like JIRA, GitHub & Git Actions
  • Experienced in the DevOps/agile way of working
  • Good to have experience with SAST tools for code scanning, vulnerability checks etc.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

  • Develop and deliver products in the customer support and returns process area
  • Create scalable solutions using good software engineering practices such as code review, automated testing, and continuous integration within an agile/iterative development approach
  • Collaborate in tests, performance analysis, configuration management and creation of functional/feature specifications
  • Work with different teams within INGKA and Inter IKEA with interdependencies towards Group Digital related to product/service design
  • Always In this role you will report to the Engineering Manager for Customer Support Returns – Customer Support Staff Planning product.

This role is based in Malmo, Sweden

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA

We set the digital agenda to keep IKEA leading in an uncertain and fast-moving environment. We drive the development, provision and operation of our digital products and services using new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to deliver at pace. The IKEA Customer Support Centers are a key focus in the digital transformation initiatives, and we are looking for Engineers who can be part of new product development as part of this transformation journey.

The recruitment will be for the customer support returns business domain and will be part of a high performing Engineering team, working with the latest technologies to develop staff planning, forecasting and capacity planning solutions, to increase the efficiency of our IKEA Customer Support Centers.
