This position enables Optus Data Platform Management to achieve the following objectives:
Guide on the effective use of Data Management (DM) solutions, in order to achieve business outcomes in alignment with business requirements and the overall DPM Architecture
Implement new DM technologies, build technical and functional expertise across enterprise in enabling Data management frameworks and technical solutions.
Work closely with program, business, vendors and technical stakeholders to effectively lead and deliver data management activities across multiple programs of work.
Provide input into defining DM strategy and deliver to DM roadmap and program of work.
Work with the Enterprise Data Governance, Solution Design & Engineering teams to instil data management tools and frameworks from the project inception.
Lead the delivery of work streams, in the form of Squads and project teams for successfully enabling implementation of Data Management tools across DPM and enterprise wide.
Evangelist for DM tools, processes and solutions related to multiple data domains in DPM and across enterprise.
Ability to influence and support a diverse set of stakeholder groups to effectively manage their critical data elements, as well as contribute to the broader data management team objectives of helping the group data teams to implement data management framework across Optus.
Understanding of end-to-end view of customer data and provide answers to questions about various components of the solution
Experience and Qualifications
Team leadership experience within solution design and delivery.
Proven experience in delivering complex solutions in a large data ecosystem with multiple projects.
Experience in Data management platform solution design, both on-prem and cloud deployments.
Expertise in understanding data lifecycle in a complex environment.
Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with a passion for championing change.
Worked with Data Management tools like Informatica AXON, EDC, Secure@Source) or any other equivalent is highly regarded.
Proven knowledge with Data Governance, metadata management and data visualization tools.
Tableau, Power BI, Cognos BI or equivalent Analytics/Reporting tools.
