Description
Provides effective, responsive and timely internal transfer processing for hiring managers and KP employees which results in the best match of the most qualified candidates for assigned positions (Non union/non exempt) or the best match of the most qualified candidates for assigned positions in compliance with a specific collective bargaining agreements. Manages completion of work and relationships through effective, courteous and customer friendly phone interaction. (This position is one of two possible step II tracks in a Recruitment Coordinator Career ladder.)
Essential Functions: • Works one-on-one with internal candidates screening transfer request for minimum qualifications. Conducts phone screen, using established tools & appropriate interviewing techniques, to assess eligibility & availability for testing. Ensures collective bargaining agreements are applied consistently for all appropriate candidates. Screens candidates for qualifications documented performance issues & seniority & validates candidate's interest in specified position. • Set-up seniority order for all interested qualified employee applicants & determines top pay tier as defined by collective bargaining agreement. Confirms realistic job preview appointment with hiring manager & eligible employee(s). Ensures accurate & complete details regarding transfer candidates. (i.e. seniority, performance, qualifications, test results). Confirms receipt of transfer requests in writing, by phone and/or by email. • Works with employee applicants to complete transfer process. Sets up appointments for on-boarding session, employee health screen & new employee orientation if applicable. Ensures organizational compliance requirements are met prior to new hire start date (i.e. background investigation cleared, employee health assessment cleared, license validation/certification verified as appropriate, education verified for inter-regional transfers & references verified). Obtains copies of last evaluation and/or documented disciplinary action to inform hiring manager of candidate's eligibility. Works closely with Career Services to facilitate placement of qualified employees for assigned positions. • Advocates internal employee qualifications & skill sets as it relates to a specified position. Provides feedback to career services via LN regarding outcome & feedback. Completes hire process in applicant tracking system. Ensures timely close of posting, generation & accurate completion of Personnel Action Confirmation & offer or disposition letter generation. Notifies manager of anticipated new hire start date, salary, position filled (requisition number), anticipated EHS clearance date & new employee orientation date. Works with the Kaiser benefits & payroll system, processing paperwork & trouble shooting problems to ensure new hire receives accurate & timely paycheck. • Proactively develops & maintains effective relationships with hiring managers, colleagues, clients, candidates/applicants, administrative staff & others. Supports achievement of service level agreements & recruiting objectives for assigned positions. Collaborates with recruiter/consultants & other recruitment coordinators to convert internal positions to external recruitment. Ensures satisfaction with delivery of recruitment services & timely internal hiring process. • Maintains timely, accurate & complete applicant tracking & requisition information in Applicant tracking database & system. • This job description is not all encompassing.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Experience • Minimum of one (1) year of human resources experience.
Education • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field. • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience organizing events and conferences/job fairs preferred. • Knowledge of collective bargaining agreement as it relates to seniority, employment security and salary preferred. • Knowledge of interest based problem solving preferred. • Knowledge of continuous quality improvement preferred.
