Job Summary

This is a Permanent opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer to work with a technical team, in a highly dynamic environment and directly influence the engagement, and productivity outcomes, of thousands of frontline employees within our organisation. The Senior Full Stack Developer is a technical unicorn, with an innate ability to bring together other likeminded technical resources, communicate effectively and simply to non-technical stakeholders, and drive business outcomes by delivering high quality applications that streamline the Frontline Technology Landscape. The Senior Full Stack Developer has design governance responsibility relating to all front-end development ensuring a high level of customer experience and usability with major focus on achieving key Customer Success KPIs, through their delivery of first class web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Build and develop technical solutions, manage end-to-end technical delivery of high profile and complex projects as part of the Frontline Technology Group.
Provide technical guidance on large key initiatives, mentoring junior developers and non-technical stakeholders in best practice
Work closely with both internal and external design development and testing groups to ensure the portal experience conforms to Optus standards, product specifications and requirements whilst driving Agile methodologies to be the cornerstone of the production process with major focus on contribution towards Customer Success KPIs.
Negotiate and consult on solutions with stakeholders and resource capacity.
Schedule business requests for priority and ensure assigned resources are briefed and updated on delivering details of task and projects.
Work as a conduit between Customer Success channel support and digital squads, on the integration of existing workflow management tools into the next generation Digital Core strategic platform.

Experience and Qualifications

Software Engineering or Information Technology qualifications or equivalent tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
Technical experience: HTML, JavaScript, CSS/Bootstrap, PHP & SQL.
A detailed understanding of web technology and UX design principles
Solid experience with user centric web based applications
Experience as lead developer in large scale deployments
