About the Role:

As the National Manager Partner Operations, you will work closely with the national sales teams and key customers within Optus Business. The role will take the lead in developing and operationalising sales frameworks designed to drive consistently commitment.

A key focus will be to ensure the execution of all sales initiatives across the channel. You will work proactively with key customers within the channel to ensure initiatives are fit for purpose and successfully embedded. They will be responsible for seeking out opportunities for improving sales performance across the partner network, driving a dynamic and proactive approach to sales performance.

Based within our Optus Macquarie Park Campus, the role will build relationships with both internal and external partners, along with the presence and impact to lead, influence and negotiate outcomes with key stakeholders.

We're looking for an influencer, self-starter someone that can resolve key challenges that arise on a day-to-day basis. You will be a negotiator and can drive negotiated outcomes that are satisfactory to the team and wider business.

Key responsible:

  • Work closely with the state teams to ensure business plans are completed and executed.
  • Strive for excellence in management of the partner framework, through standardising processes and management framework.
  • Deliver business performance insights through working across the business to standardise and simplify reporting to improve local execution
  • Applying capability and quality standards governance and measurement consistently to frontline capability programs and practices and demonstrating clear correlation to quality and performance outcomes.
  • Lead performance reporting collation and operating rhythm of partners
  • Maintain a central partner repository for all partner documentation
  • Maintain partner contracts ensuring renewal timeframes are met
  • Coordinate partner meetings and follow items
  • Maintain engagement and focus on delivery in complex and constantly evolving environment and managing competing priorities that arise across channel

About You:

  • 5+ years’ experience in national sales operational environment
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • Interest in sales
  • Ability to manage time across numerous tasks, to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse groups & personalities
  • Self-directed, motivated, and good decision-maker
  • Strong attention to detail & excellent written and verbal skills
  • Change management design and execution knowledge and experience
  • A self-starter with an ability to adapt to a dynamic, ever-changing, and ambiguous environment.
