Business Development Representative –Lenovo Commercial IDG

Get Inspired by the Work You’ll Do

  • Advocate for TD SYNNEX by learning and upholding our company vision & mission
  • Sales Champion that maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions to position both TD SYNNEX and Lenovo as a leader - reviews trade publications and industry news
  • Initiate partner engagement efforts between field & inside sales to grow existing and net new customer base, through outbound calls and customer visits
  • Manage dedicated mailbox and incoming calls from resellers. Follow up on sales & customer requests/issues within pre-determined SLA
  • Drives attendance to events and conferences as appropriate
  • Participate in weekly team meeting to discuss objectives, new products/programs, opportunities and reseller updates
  • Schedule and lead bi-weekly review with line manager and Lenovo, to ensure goals are being achieved & issues are resolved
  • Other Business Development duties and support as required by TD SYNNEX and Lenovo
  • Training & Enablement:
  • Achieve and maintain Technical & Sales certifications on all Lenovo products as applicable to your role
  • Attend trainings on Lenovo products as required
  • Customer first mindset – develop and execute trainings and activities for sales and resellers
  • Reseller communications lead for all Lenovo products and their lifecycle, pertaining to your portfolio
  • Assist in implementation, coordinating and managing all Lenovo reseller program communication
  • Ownership of the TD SYNNEX Lenovo Sharepoint Sales site, alongside your colleagues
  • Marketshare:
  • Results driven leader, unlocking opportunities that contribute to TD SYNNEX marketshare momentum
  • Grow Lenovo market share in Canada and elevate them to the forefront of emerging markets
  • Work with Resellers and TD SYNNEX sales force to create awareness, drive solution sales and add-on sales
  • Collaborate with TD SYNNEX management and Lenovo team (Marketing, Sales & Purchasing) on sales plans, goals, and initiatives
  • Forecasting/Pipeline:
  • Accurately forecast open and pending deals to achieve revenue targets as assigned
  • Utilize data reports to uncover competitive markets, incremental opportunities, or lost business
  • Follow up on quotes, bids, and pipeline
  • Understand top resellers buying patterns

Your passion is sparked by:

  • Minimum high school diploma (post-secondary education an asset)
  • Minimum 1-year sales / business development experience
  • French speaking an asset
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, but also a Team Player
  • Some technical knowledge (PC & Data Centre)
  • PC Literate (MS Office). Main programs used: Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Core Competencies for this role include analytical skills, communication skills, detail oriented, networking skills, organization, and planning

Additional Notes: Hours & Travel

  • Extended hours required occasionally
  • Travel required; valid G2 Driver’s License in good standing is mandatory
