After starting from very humble beginnings and a desire to help the industry and consumer, we have grown to service business and wholesale customers in Cebu and Manila. Our business customers come from every industry but have one thing in common: they require high quality service and great support, companies such as Aboitiz, Amaysim, Ericsson, Uber and many others. This year we founded GetaFIX.ph, an internet exchange that has brought new content to the Philippines and made an outsized impact on everyday connectivity.

As an Events Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of our marketing team’s event planning and execution. Your role at RISE will include planning, liaising with vendors, budget management, coordination, and ensuring overall event success. You will be working closely with our marketing team to boost outside engagement and expand our brand awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in events and marketing activities of the company including planning, managing, and execution
• Coordinate with the entire marketing department during events
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
• Prepare budget and ensure adherence
• Conceptualize enhancement on future and upcoming event activities
• Endorse and review details to marketing team for marketing collateral needed in all events and activities 
• Assume marketing initiatives related to events planning and execution
• Ensure success of all activities and prepare documentation and reports 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in marketing and events management
• Strong knowledge on events planning and execution
• Excellent organization, negotiation, and customer/vendor handling skills
• Strong project management skills
• Experience in documentation and reporting is highly recommended
• Knowledge in promotional and marketing platforms
• CRM experience is a plus (Hubspot, etc.)
• Commendable communication skills
• Multi-tasking abilities is highly appreciated, partnered with ability to collaborate
