Strategic Account Manager

The Strategic Account Manager will consult closely with large billing company customers to ensure business growth through their satisfaction and return on investment of Kareo solutions. Strategic Account Managers are the customer’s primary liaison at Kareo and are accountable for identifying and directly addressing all business and technical issues impacting customer growth. In addition to the customer-facing activities, strategic account managers report key account metrics and insights to Kareo internal teams and contribute to program development activities.

Your Area of Focus

  • Customer Advocate: world class customer liaison
  • Map Kareo solutions to the customer’s unique business and technical requirements to ensure strategic long term value
  • Help Billing Company customers to grow their business using Kareo software and enterprise customer tools
  • Understand the customer’s relevant business challenges while functioning as a trusted advisor for “best practices” and drive adoption of Kareo solutions within your assigned accounts
  • Agility: respond to the needs of your customers with confidence and ease
  • Provide project leadership, coordination and technical guidance for the customer’s major Kareo initiatives
  • Maintain high-level technical knowledge of core Kareo solutions and future product direction
  • Manage and own competing requests across multiple client engagements
  • Provide clear and constructive product feedback to Kareo product management teams based on customer use-cases and requirements
  • Support customer business objectives by effectively leveraging AM program deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive business plans to effectively communicate the current status of the account and roadmaps for accelerated growth with the accounts
  • Expansion sales – ability to hit a quota 
  • Build and grow relationships with cross functional peers & collaborators

Your Professional Qualifications

  • Must be a fast learner with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Business acumen and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence change at all levels
  • Effective at working independently and in a virtual team setting – ability to problem solve as a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing client demands
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact, communicate and build relationships with all levels of personnel from administrators to executives
  • Billing or healthcare experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience
