Responsibilities

The mission of Global Ads Platform is to build an easy-to-understand, easy-to-use and powerful Ads product and connect global advertisers and users.

We are looking for experienced data scientists to join us in using advanced analytics and machine learning to help optimize product and user experience, and to maximize monetization opportunities. You will have the rare opportunity to work with a fully globalized team, including data scientists, engineers, product leads, and operations experts in different countries to build a world class Ads products.

1. Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed;

2. Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations;

3. Build and prototype analysis pipelines iteratively to provide insights at scale;

4. Develop comprehensive knowledge of data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for product development;

Interact cross-functionally, making business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information;

5. Research and develop analysis, forecasting, and optimization methods to improve the quality of ads products.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years industry experience and advanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent practical experience;

2. Deep knowledge of experiment design and causal inference, strong analytical and causual reasoning mindset;

3. Fluency in core set of Data Science, and SQL/Hive, R/Python, and ETL;

4. Developing funnels & decomposing metrics variation;

5. Implementing visualizations, dashboards, and reports;

6. Demonstrated track record of product leadership and ability to lead and influence teams;

7. Proven ability to succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment;

8. Experience in Digital Marketing, Attribution Systems, Customer LTV, Ads Platforms is a big plus.
