General Notes

Texas Athletics Ticketing Operations department is looking for individuals to provide a quality customer service experience while assisting customers in purchasing and/or distributing tickets over the phone and/or in person. NEW: Currently seeking staff for our Sales and Service team, operating hours Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, hours may be adjusted to accommodate your schedule where business operations make it feasible to do so.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as ticket seller by selling tickets in person and/or by phone using Paciolan ticketing system
  • Distribute Player Pass/Will Call tickets to guests
  • Balance monies at end of the shift
  • Provide general information to guests and resolve issues
  • Navigate several different Texas Athletics facilities
  • Utilize Salesforce to personalize customer experience

Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Big 12 Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be available for varied hours including but not limited to – mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Must have computer skills and experience 
  • Demonstrate ability to take and accurately follow instructions
  • Must be able to maintain a friendly, service attitude at all times.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in ticketing operations 
  • Knowledge of UT Austin’s Paciolan ticking system a plus

Salary Range

  • Non-student: $15.00+ depending on qualifications and experience
  • Student Workers: $11.00+ depending on qualifications and experience

Working Conditions

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
  • Use of manual dexterity
  • Climbing of stairs

Work Shift

  • Work is offered on an as-needed and sporadic basis.
  • Work opportunities occur at all times of the day and evening and on weekends and holidays.

Employment Eligibility:

Retirement Plan Eligibility:

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
