The Opportunity

Join our Manufacturing Data Systems team within Operations Technology (OT). Based at Broadmeadows, Melbourne within our Execution Systems team, you will be the technical consultant for our manufacturing process data collection, management, and reporting infrastructure.

Internally referred to as Manufacturing Data Systems Engineer, you will implement the data historian system, production reporting systems and analytical systems to allow the start-up, commissioning, validation, and maintenance of large-scale manufacturing facilities.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Manufacturing Data Systems Lead – APAC, you will:

• Lead projects establishing manufacturing analytical systems for our facilities
• Provide operations support to production systems
• Increase Site Data Historian usage to support new projects and existing value streams
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Validation, QA and Engineering to implement manufacturing data solutions
• Implement industry best practices on data management and visualisation

Your skills and experience

• Minimum a Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar discipline
• At least 5+ years of technical experience in Operations Technology or Data Systems software implementation role
• Skills in Osisoft PI products, SQL database or similar software
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, network and database concepts
• Proficient in project management principles and project lifecycle phases
• Knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations would be an advantage
