Kiko Milano is currently hiring part time Cashiers for the season. You will use your makeup artistry and skincare knowledge to educate clients on how to use Kiko Milano products. Through this knowledge, you will be successful in our retail setting by building a dedicated client base that will look to you for the latest makeup tips and trends.
MISSION
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for providing support to the retail cosmetics beauty staff and to assist with cash register and replenishment duties. He or she will ensure the store maximizes retail customer service sales opportunities by effectively managing the retail cash wrap and operating according to Company standards. In addition, a Cashier must assist with the overall maintenance and visual presentation of the store.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiative, Responsiveness, Planning and Organizing
Perform closing procedures and opening procedures to ensure that the store is ready for business and operating as per Company directives.
Ensure that the cosmetics retail store always meets Company standards with regards to merchandising, visual presentations,
housekeeping, and loss prevention requirements.
Responsible for assuring closing and opening procedures are done to Company standard.
Store Maintenance and Other Duties
Ensure that the cosmetics retail store always meets Company standards with regards to merchandising, visual presentations, and housekeeping as directed by your retail manager.
Develop a full understanding of the store’s computer and point of sale systems to efficiently ring sales transactions and perform other required functions such as receiving, transferring merchandising and sending merchandise to customers.
Assist with receiving stock and inventory as needed.
Protect store assets and inventory through an awareness of loss prevention procedures.
Comply with all Company policies outlined in our Manual with regards to dress code, discounts, conduct, etc.
All other duties as required by your manager.
Customer Service Orientated
Ensure that beauty retail store products are at efficient stock levels and are able to respond to cosmetics customer’s inquiries and needs.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in retail industry preferred.
Understanding of store operations.
Excellent communication skills.
Computer skills to include a retail point of sale software system a must.
