Position Summary

The NASP-accredited School Psychology Graduate Program at Minot State University has a long history of producing highly-qualified school psychologists who are employed throughout the country. The program uses a cohort model and admits seven to ten students each year, which creates a desirable faculty-to-student ratio for research and community involvement. Representing the only school-psychology graduate program in the state of North Dakota, our Minot State faculty members have the opportunity for state-level leadership roles and are sought for their professional expertise by many different stakeholders. Responsibilities

This is a tenure-track position with a nine-month contract and additional opportunities to teach during the summer semester if desired. The school psychology faculty member provides didactic teaching in a face-to-face and/or online environment. The teaching load for this position is typically nine credits each semester, fall and spring. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to make scholarly contributions to the discipline, serve on department and university committees, and contribute service to the community. The position begins August 2022.

Minimum Qualifications

It is desired that the applicant holds a Ph.D. degree in school psychology; however, applicants with an Education Specialist (Ed. S.) degree in school psychology with significant experience as a practicing school psychologist will be considered for this position. ABD applicants also will be considered. 

Compensation
