About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager and as The Acquisition Marketing Executive, this role is essential in supporting the implementation and optimisation of the Optus Business Acquisition Marketing strategy.

You will be responsible for briefing, developing, executing and reporting on end-to-end acquisition marketing campaigns to drive brand consideration, omni-channel demand, and acquisition of SMB customers.

Based at our Macquarie Park Campus, this is a permanent full-time position supporting our agency partners to develop and drive a direct response & test various messages to creative insights for future performance, whilst you support agency partners and internal teams to analyse performance reports & derive insights which will further improve media and creative results.

Optus Business is seeking a Self-motivated & team orientated individual, a problem solver and be able to build solutions to improve the customer journey. You will adapt design frameworks and applications to solve customer and business problems, whilst you balance experience objectives and outcomes with that of the business.

Key responsible:

  • Work with campaign manager to lead, collaborate on and execute acquisition marketing strategy. Execute insight-led, creatively driven, best-in-class marketing campaigns for product, network & service led proof points.
  • Work with media agency and channel teams to plan, execute and optimise the media mix for both offline & online channels.
  • Work with creative agency partners to develop compelling communications to drive a direct response & test various messages to develop creative insights for future performance.
  • Manage media & production budgets at a campaign level, within overall product budget parameters.
  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to analyse performance reports & derive insights which will further improve media and creative results.
  • Act as an ambassador for the SMB marketing amongst both the SMB business unit as well as consumer marketing team drive alignment and endorsement of marketing plans
  • Identify and support innovation opportunities that deliver improved results in line with key objectives

About You:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications e.g. Business / Marketing Degree
  • 3-4 years marketing experience. Performance Marketing and Marketing Technology and advantage.
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Experience developing marketing concepts
  • Media planning and creative briefing skills
  • Reporting and Analytical experience
  • Strong attention to detail & excellent written and verbal skills
  • End-to-end marketing campaign management skills
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • Ability to manage time across numerous tasks, to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse groups & personalities
  • Self-directed, motivated, and good decision-maker
