Opportunity Highlights
- This is a full-time, employed opportunity where the incoming PA will be housed with the rest of the staff in a 42,000 square foot lab. It is an ideal role for a new graduate.
- We are seeking a candidate that strongly desires to be a part of a cohesive group practice as the first PA to join.
- There is no supervision of residents.
- This is a Monday – Friday position (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
- AP volume per day, per pathologist:
- 20-30 GYN (vaginal, cervical, endometrial and vulva)
- 20 urine cytology
- 20 Pap’s
- 8 patient prostate biopsies
- Surgicals will include breast, kindney, appendix and bladders
- No call requirements and no frozen section.
- Current staff: Six (6) full-time pathologists, full histology team and twenty (20) accessioners
- There is no autopsy work.
- The incoming PA will attend conferences with the pathologists.
