Nationally ranked Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) is seeking its Inaugural Chair of Psychiatry. The successful candidate will build a brand-new Department of Psychiatry, provide academic leadership, expand and build collaborative relationships, and grow innovative programs. LUCOM is approaching the 10-year mark since its inception. Many vital programs and faculty have been added, and there is a tremendous opportunity to be on the ground level toward contributing to educational, clinical, and research programs that will be in place for many more years to come. Candidates must have a substantial record of leadership and achievements in academic medicine and education; be board certified in psychiatry; be qualified for appointment at the rank of associate professor or full professor; and be eligible for a license in the state of Virginia.
