Your responsibilities

  • Global product technical support for worldwide technology centers and factories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functions including GPM, quality, operation, SCM.
  • HV product (DTB, PASS, LTB, GIS) enhancements, upgrades and maintenance
  • Develop HV products and solutions with high reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Create 3D models and 2D drawings proficiently for HV CB and switchgear components development.
  • Perform or check dielectric and mechanical calculation or simulation.
  • Work on the pressurized vessel simulation and design, work on gas tightness and sealing design.
  • Perform tolerance chain calculation and kinematic chain analysis.
  • Conduct design review, including DFMEA/DFM/DFA.
  • Prepare technical documentation for product (specs, instructions, manual, list of type test, comprehensive type test data, routine test instruction, etc.).
  • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • A Master’s degree or above in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or other related majors.
  • More than 2 years of HV products R&D or engineering experience, full experience (from design to launch) of 2 and above HV products preferred.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, structured and systematic thinking, good communication skills and team spirit.
  • Strong result-driven, high quality and high-speed player.
  • Project management skill is preferred.
  • Good oral/writing English preferred.
  • Excellent communication both in local and global
  • Familiar with surface treatment on different materials, raw materials' properties (aluminum, steel, copper etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of casting, welding, machining is requested.
  • Solid knowledge on HV product features and deep understanding of the correlation between mechanical, insulation, switching, and thermal performance.
  • Strong assembly experience, or site installation & commissioning knowledge, or familiar with substation configuration and layout is a plus.
