Our local Insulation & Components product group is a technology leader in the development and manufacture of high-voltage bushings. Our customers include all well-known international companies in the electrical industry that are active in power generation, transmission and distribution. In the field of high voltage bushings we hold a leading position worldwide. We are looking for a Production Engineer who will be responsible for supervising operations related to high voltage bushings. Your responsibilities

• Ensure plant availability at the site in cooperation with the internal maintenance team and our suppliers
• Optimize product throughput time and reduce quality costs
• Carry out trial studies to determine the correct process parameters
• Take responsibility for start-up of new processes/plants, including definition of action plans and training for maintenance and production resources
• Evaluate new process technologies to improve quality, productivity and cost optimization
• Central role in process deviation investigations and implementation of corrective actions
• Active leadership in digitizing production and increasing the level of automation

Your background

• Technical degree (BSc.) preferably in the field of electrical engineering, process engineering or mechanical engineering or a higher technical education (HF)
• Generally good technical process and quality understanding
• Experience in lean manufacturing as well as proven success in coordinating projects through effective planning and communication
• Solid experience in programming, preferably JavaScript, C#, SQL
• Affinities with digitalization and automation topics
• You are an autonomous and proactive project manager with excellent communication skills
• You have excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills
• Confident German and English language skills, both written and spoken, is a must
