As a part of a technical support team at the Global Technical Support Center in Chennai we provide service to the global installed base of high voltage protective relays and control devices, as well as associated tools and system equipment. Your responsibilities

  • Technically supporting our local as well as global service units.
  • Technically supporting external customers as well as our own organization.
  • Conducting technical investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Making sure that all reported cases are well handled in a professional way.
  • Managing customer cases in a common database with priority and response time.
  • Close cooperation with sister engineering / development units in other countries.
  • Building relations and providing great customer service on a high technical level.
  • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering with 4-8 Years of experience in fiberoptic & PLCC communication systems.
  • Good knowledge about Power system, Telecommunication system offerings.
  • Hands-on experience in software configuration tools like FOXCST, ECST, FOXMAN, UNEM.
  • Familiarity with SDH, PDH & MPLS-TP technologies.
  • Knowledge in switching (L2) & routing (L3) protocols.
  • CCNA certification will be an advantage.
  • Background in engineering and commissioning is meriting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word & Powerpoint).
  • Fluency in English.
  • A team player who constantly look for opportunities to improve and to find better ways to serve our customers.
  • Ability to contribute to positive work environment.
  • High focus on customers and their needs.
