Hitachi Energy is seeking a On-Site Support Regional Manager. Hitachi Energy IT have initiated an IT Transformation program for the set up and migration to a new “stand alone” global IT environment. We are looking for a talented IT individual to be part of building and operating a new IT function equipped to meet our future needs. As a newly formed IT organization with green field approaches to Infrastructure and Service Integration, HE IT intends to provide an outstanding, consistent IT service and user experience by the implementation of our On-site services. This is crucial to support the organizations’ efforts to continuously improve the efficiency and the value that IT creates for the business. The role of the On-Site Service Lead (Americas) is to liaise with all stakeholders within and outside of the IT organization, to understand what the requirements and pain points are, and to translate these requirements into business value and minimize any disruption to our business. The On-Site Service Lead manages the On-Site Service build up and operations for the Americas region. Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for building up and insuring the delivery of On-Site Services for Americas. Review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and corresponding service monitoring & controlling metrics to identify rightsizing opportunities
  • Drive overall business satisfaction of On-Site Services within Americas
  • Initiated proactive service improvements in the OSS area and ensure their delivery
  • Develop and implement performance measurement framework for On-Site Services for the relevant region covering service quality, satisfaction, and financial performance in collaboration with the SI Reporting Team
  • Re-assess OSS demand on quarterly basis for the countries/sites in scope
  • Support major incident & critical situation resolution
  • Manage assigned budget, effectively and deliver activities within agreed schedules and costs

Your background

  • Master/Bachelor’s degree in IT and a minimum 12 years of experience in On-Site Support or Infrastructure management.
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Proven experience in large scale transition & transformation programs with the establishment of IT Infrastructure services and a success track record
  • Good knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow), MS Office Products, ITIL,
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous
  • Flexibility to quickly adopt to new ways of working
  • Ability to work in remote teams
  • Excellent business writing and presentation skills in English
  • Persistence and sense of urgency
