Development of new gas insulated switchgear high voltage digital sensors involves complex and long testing campaigns. The aim of this internship is to support and lead the development of a data aquisition system, which incorporates the automation of testing equipment, recording of measured signals, structuring the data and providing the user interfaces for these tasks. You'll work will be between your desk and our different laboratories. It will give you great insights on unique facilities, like our high-voltage, high-current and mechanical laboratory. You'll be contributing to bringing a product to the market that is part of the energy distribution backbone and in a version of it reduce the CO2 footprint, with our new EconiQ insulation gas. Would you like to obtain practical experience in an international and future-oriented company? Then join us as an intern for 4-6 months. You will be involved in our project and will take on specific tasks independently. Use your time, expand your network and get to know us through an internship. Your background

  • BSc degree in engineering science(ME, EE or similar), physics or similar
  • Above average proficiency and interest in Matlab/Simulink, Matlab's App Designer and other scripting languages like Python
  • Good understanding about metrology
  • Good understanding of electronics
  • Experience with serial interfaces for control and data acquisition
  • Good understanding of signal processing (noise filtering, offset compensation, spectrum analysis, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analysis
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as willingness to handle responsibilities independently
