HVDC is looking for a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager located in Chennai, India to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role you will be part of a quality team that is dedicated to implement a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way. As a local Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager, your main responsibility will be to lead a team of Quality Specialists in India, develop, improve and implement quality support processes in the organization. In this role you will collaborate with different stakeholders across the organization to improve the customer satisfaction and quality culture. You are welcomed into a global team of ten people where you have a great opportunity to develop your own role in the company.

Your responsibilities

  • Drive, develop and implement Quality & Continuous Improvements processes locally and in close collaboration and alignment with the global organization.
  • Lead a team of Quality Specialists located in India.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, follow-up and act on quality targets and KPIs.
  • Drive the development of our quality culture.
  • Lead Kaizen events and drive improvement projects.
  • Perform quality audits and assessments.
  • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Quality Management or Engineering.
  • More than 8+ Years of experience with 2-3 Years of experience in People management.
  • Should have good knowledge of Quality Management, ISO 9001, Process Management, Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement.
  • Should be a team player who promotes team effectiveness by facilitating and building on the ideas of others and shares information and expertise, to achieve desired results.
  • Should have solid communication and influencing skills to address and build trust with people in your team and on different organizational levels.
  • You should be a leader who has the ability to inspire & coach. Earlier management experience is a plus.
  • Should have a positive, structured, flexible, driven, and pro-active mindset.
