We are hiring a Senior Lead Engineer to support across all disciplines for multiple; medium to high complexity projects for Grid Automation. This position is to ensure that activities related to engineering disciplines within the project are efficiently and cost- effectively executed, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Your responsibilities

• Acts as a technical lead and design authority for engineering deliverables across all applicable engineering disciplines
• Preparing base design of substation automation systems, control and protection. Verification of the implemented base design in the detail design
• To coordinate all technical activities during the complete project duration
• Manage the engineers in the project teams across all disciplines
• To approve documentation in accordance with the contractual requirements of the project
• Works with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeking feedback and innovating with the customer to drive and deliver improvements
• To identify and manage additional risks across functions which may not be apparent to individual designers
• To liaise with project management on engineering budgets and to provide forecast cost to complete estimates and associated justification to changes in expenditure
• Assist in preparing tender proposals and claims

Your background

• Strong knowledge in substation automation systems, control and protection of substations.
• A university degree in electromechanics or electrotechnics
• More than 5 years of work experience in substation automation in a similar Role.
• Fluently English, additional language skills are considered as valuable asset.
• Communicative and assertive personality with good organizational skills
• Strong coordination skills.
• In addition, your profile will include a self-motivated approach and team spirit, underpinned by leadership skills
