As a Country Manager Director/Local Sales Manager, will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in the Singapore/. Primarily the role is accountable for company's general management and leadership. The Country Managing Director assure financial and operational performances to achieve given targets and responsible for Profit and Loss. The incumbent is accountable for compliance with local legislation and Hitachi Energy group charter. Also responsible for staff development and satisfaction and develop sustainable business for the Company.
Your responsibilities
- Company General Management and leadership: Responsibility for Profit and Loss; Accountability for compliance with local legislation and Hitachi Energy group charter; Responsibility for staff development and satisfaction and develop sustainable business for the Company.
- Strategy development and implementation to guarantee the achievement of the targets given from BU/HBU. Implement decisions taken and secure the stable and sustainable short- & long-term development of the company.
- Improves manufacturing technology, operation processes and competence in line with L6S principles.
- Guarantee high standard of product quality and service to increase continuously customer satisfaction.
- Drive productivity, performance & cost optimization.
- Foster a performance-oriented and customer-focused culture in the unit.
- Guarantee a healthy and safe working condition for the company staff and secure respect and dignity for each individual life and ensure environment responsibility in all company activities and operations.
- Close collaboration with GPG/PL, HBL management team, FES and the other business-related stakeholders

Your background
- Master’s degree / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with strong technical background and good track record with good understanding/experience of major functions like R&D/engineering, sales & marketing/product management, production and with full responsibility of Profit and Loss, 20+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong personal leadership with interpersonal skills.
- Experience in leading major improvement/change projects.
- Understanding and being able to work with different cultures.
- Fluent written and spoken English matched with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills.
