The High Voltage Products unit operated by Hitachi Energy is acknowledged around the world as a supplier of specialist solutions in the field of power transmission and distribution. Within the High Voltage Products unit, an area specializing in high-current systems is responsible for developing, producing, marketing, and servicing generator circuit-breakers. We are currently looking to secure the services of a Project Technician to join our team in Oerlikon, Switzerland. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for conceiving and developing circuit/wiring diagrams for specific customer applications. This will involve working in close cooperation with internal project managers and external suppliers.

Your responsibilities

• Develop wiring diagrams for new products
• Create customized wiring diagrams based on project-specific technical selection tables
• Refine wiring diagrams in response to technical adjustments from customer side and changes to control technology, as well as for the purpose of technical advancement
• Provide technical support for suppliers with regard to control cubicle manufacturing
• Maintain a state of the art the language database and device list for EPLAN P8
• Assist and advise Service and Sales teams in preparing quotations
• Ensure compliance with defined processes as well as on-time completion

Your background

• Vocational qualifications in Electrical or Automation Engineering (or similar)
• Advanced training (e.g. specialist college) is an advantage
• Work experience in similar role
• Excellent command of German and good knowledge of English
• Precise and structured approach
• Team spirit
