Hitachi Energy IT have initiated an IT Transformation program for the set up and migration to a new “stand alone” global IT environment. We are looking for an individual who will help us in building and operating our Connectivity Service Team. As a Connectivity Service Manager part of your role will be to overcome departmental boundaries and prevent silo-thinking.

Your responsibilities

  • Leadership and continuous development of the Connectivity Core Service team
  • Strategical development of service portfolio considering IT guidelines, architectural design and business orientation
  • Managing Network Core services with your team from an end-to-end perspective and across the lifecycle
  • Supporting projects and quality management practices across internal IT and Suppliers
  • Integrating, leading by example and acting as change agent during transformation
  • Engaging on major outages, driving/managing these outages to a quicker resolution, after the resolution, proposing the follow-up action from the outage for long term resolution.
  • Acting as a liaison to the Infrastructure Transitional Service Agreement Exit program

Your background

  • Around 10 years of experience in IT coordination or management including cost responsibility
  • Understanding of Network Core Services e.g. DNS, DHCP, IPAM (Infoblox DDI) and AAA (Cisco ISE)
  • Understanding of Network Security e.g. Remote Access (Palo Alto Global Protect) and Secure Web Access (Zscaler)
  • Understanding of Voice Services (non-Teams Telephony, SBC, IP Telephony)
  • Mandatory Process, Service or Product ownership experience
  • Mandatory Service Operations and Delivery Management
  • ITIL 4 or similar service-oriented certificate is an advantage
  • Project and Agile Management (PMP, Scalable Agile) and Quality Improvement (Lean, Six-Sigma, Kaizen) experience will be beneficial
  • High sense of responsibility and commitment
  • Systematic approach and business-oriented mindset combined with good articulation skills
  • High degree of intercultural awareness
  • Self-driven personality
  • Fluent in English, verbal and writing
