We are using a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the production execution on the shop floor. The MES is an addition/extension to our SAP ERP System. Our MES is key to deliver products on quality and time and serving as the basis for agile production. It is the data source for continuous improvement. Since the MES is the heart of quality data recording on the shopfloor it plays a key role in trouble shooting and improvements. We are in transition of moving to S4HANA with significant impact on systems, processes and the way we work. Due to that we are looking for an innovative colleague strengthening our team.

Your responsibilities

• Specifying, testing Changes in the MES
• Prioritizing change requests and activities with external development partners
• Implementing changes in the PP SAP module like work plans, routings, master data
• Train shop floor personal on new functions
• Trouble shooting of application and interfaces.
• Deputy of the senior experts

Your background

• Thorough know how in SAP PP module and/or with manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Team player within a small team, who is motivated to develop in the area and work in a global environment with exchange in the global production network
• Basic project management knowledge for implementing IT changes
• Basic knowledge in programming is beneficial, e.g. Javascript, ABAP, PowerBI. language DE/EN. (GIS background)
• Work with SAP PP and Extension for 2-3 years.
• Knowledge in the SAP Module MM, SD
• Knowledge S4HANA advantageous
• FH/HF/Techniker
