Job Introduction

As an Administration Assistant within our Cheshire West and Chester Integrated Sexual Health Service provided by HCRG Care Group, you’ll join a team who are focused on delivering impeccable customer service to our service users to really make our service users and staff feel the difference. 

This role is a 9-12 month fixed term contract to commence on 14th February 2022. 

Main Responsibility

Your days will be rewarding, task-orientated and include: undertaking full reception and administrative duties; and to perform a variety of tasks in support of the patient journey from referral to consultation, through to discharge. You will be based primarily in Chester City Centre within walking distance of the bus and train station, we also offer a cycle to work scheme with secure onsite bicycle shelter; and onsite showers to freshen up before or after work.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have a passion for great customer service and an excellent eye for detail, and where you will be joining a passionate and caring administrative team. 

You will be proficient in the use of computerised systems for booking and tracking all types of outpatient appointments and patient electronic records; ensuring this function is co-ordinated and updated accurately and in a timely manner. In addition you will work in conjunction with the clinical and managerial teams to ensure appointment capacity is utilised and the timeliness of patient appointments is monitored.

In addition to patient facing roles and responsibilities, you will be confident in managing your own time, working independently and completing structured tasks such and typing and sending letters, and supporting with our in-house results processes. 

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.

Due to the nature of our service being in the community, you will be required to travel and work from our other sites in Winsford, Northwich, Ellesmere Port, Neston and Blacon; therefore having access to transport is essential for this role.
