Responsibilities

Night Auditor

You will support the daily guest service operations and ensure that the accounting operations in our Serviced Residence run smoothly at night. You will also create a pleasant and lasting atmosphere that enables residents’ satisfaction and provide a sense of home away from home. You will report directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Guest Service.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Assist residents with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Make and confirm reservations
  • Respond to all queries through walk-ins, emails, calls and assist with requests.
  • Handle cash floats throughout your night shift and ensure all floats are balanced at the end of each shift
  • Verify revenue from all sources and follow up on any discrepancies in reports
  • Account for all financial transactions at the front desk accurately during your shift
  • Handle end-of-day bookkeeping, auditing and account reconciliation
  • Handle and record residents’ complaints, feedback and perform the appropriate service recovery.
  • Perform end-of-day procedures and produce daily reports
  • Perform related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

You have:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Attained at least a Higher NITEC or NITEC in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or an equivalent qualification
  • Serviced-oriented, attentive to details and observant
  • Knowledge of night audit processes
  • Passion in learning a variety of tasks
  • Willingness to perform permanent night shifts
