The Job
You will be reporting to Assistant Vice President, Group Administration and be part of the Mailroom team. This role is on a 2-year contract.
Responsibilities
- Involved in mailroom operations including ensuring the prompt & accurate distribution of incoming mail packages & franking/posting/courier of outgoing mails and all other activities related to mail operations e.g. recording, sorting, coordinating with vendors and staff.
- Perform internal and external dispatch duties
- Deliver local & foreign newspapers, periodicals, magazines
- Coordinate tender & RFQ processes; receive & record tender documents
- Negotiate for best rates, review/award contracts for mail handling such as Fedex, DHL, local courier services etc
- Record incoming mails & inform recipient to collect daily
- Manage dispersing of corporate passes (zoo, bird park, etc)
- Support multiple site mailroom as and when required
- Any other adhoc support duties when required
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'O' level, NTC or relevant disciplines
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably in mailroom functions
- Self-motivated with strong follow-up skills.
- Meticulous and well-organized.
- Good communication skills
- A good team player and willingness to learn
