The Job
- Being involved in Group Sustainability as a strategic thrust of CapitaLand Group to assure the longevity of the Group’s business.
- Group Sustainability is concerned with both risks as well as opportunities across the Group’s real estate value chain and broadly covers these factors: Economic, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
Responsibilities
- Assist to consolidate and analyse data for environmental, social and governance (ESG) disclosure via the annual sustainability reports in line with the latest standards and external assurance and responding on global benchmarks such as Dow Jones Sustainability Index, Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), Carbon Disclosure Project.
- Assist to monitor and report on emerging global ESG trends and regulation directions to feed into CapitaLand’s strategies to advance in areas such as TCFD.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in the management of CapitaLand Environment, Health and Safety Management System, and manage the cloud-based data management system to ensure the accuracy of reporting of relevant property and portfolio sustainability data.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree preferably related to Environmental Science/Management or Engineering with 2-4 years’ experience.
- Passionate in sustainability topics, such as carbon emissions inventories, and other environmental inventories.
- Interest and/or familiarity in data analytics. Experience in managing a cloud-based sustainability data management system would be preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel, Power BI
- Good organisational skills, analytical and meticulous. Able to work independently as well as a team player.
