Country Lead Operations Manager Germany (m/f / D) Hvdc

Hitachi ABB Power Grids

Benefits

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is a pioneering technology leader that is helping to increase access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. We help to power your home, keep the factories running, and our hospitals and schools open. Come as you are and prepare to get better as you learn from others. Bring your passion, bring your energy, and plug into a team that appreciates a simple truth: Diversity + Collaboration = Great Innovation

You will be part of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC), a global business within Hitachi ABB Power Grids. The HVDC technology, pioneered by ABB, has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground- and submarine cable systems. Our projects are large and complex, typically between 50- and 1.000 Million United States Dollars (MUSD), incorporating EPC and turnkey delivery of HVDC technology into the local energy network. An increasing portion of the business is off-shore, where off-shore wind generation is transmitted with HVDC technology from platform to shore. The HVDC business has a very promising market outlook, based on the rapid development of all renewable energy integration and is a great place for your next career step. We expect to grow significantly over the next few years and are looking for a Country Lead Operations Manager to join our team in Germany.
