Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth running of the Ice Rink's operations by coordinating staff and resources to meet the demands of the public and other stakeholders
- Manage a team of customer service staff and ensure delivery of quality customer service
- Coordinate with service vendor for any operational issues
- Plan, schedule and coordinate ice skating lessons for the public sign-ups and coordinate with students / coaches
- Ensure all financial procedures are followed at all times and to liaise with Finance to facilitate and ensure proper administration
- Preparation and activation of duty rosters, operational needs and to make the necessary provisions to ensure efficient and effective daily operations at the ice rink
- Assist in planning for promotions, activities and engagement of stakeholders
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Sports Management, Leisure and Resort Management or similar
- Past experience in supporting and or coordinating recreation and sports programmes or equivalent would be advantageous
- Good communication and administration skills
- Able to work independently as well as being a team player
- 5-day work week
- Interest in ice skating would be advantageous
- Opportunity to convert to permanent or contract employment.
