Job Description 

As a Test Engineer at Micron, you will develop, debug, and maintain code that enables the massive parallel testing of advanced semiconductor devices. Micron Test Engineers support R&D, interacting closely with Product Engineering, as well as taking part in the designing and debug of test hardware. In this position you will be expected to gain a firm understanding of the functionality of advanced memory devices as defined in product data sheets. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to: analyzing device yield and testing issues; developing and implementing functionality monitors; developing and proving methods to reduce test time while maintaining test completeness. You will be expected to interface with outside engineering groups to accomplish these roles.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:

Electronics/Electrical circuit knowledge:

As applied in memory devices and to test equipment

Knowledge of digital systems and logic gates

Knowledge of transistor operation

Intermediate to advanced programming and program-debug skills, with C++ being the ideal area of expertise

The ability to work independently

Excellent technical communication skills

The ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines

Basic Unix/Linux command familiarity

Python familiarity or experience

Basic understanding of CMOS manufacturing

Memory semiconductor device knowledge (preferred) 

Education:

Bachelor's degree and above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
