Job Description:

At Ascentium Capital, the Direct Sales Consultant develops business and retains and services clients. Ascentium Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regions Bank, provides direct financing for all sizes of business, from small organizations to Fortune 500 companies, with programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors and resellers. Our finance specialization covers several segments, including technology, healthcare, hospitality, franchise, and many other key markets. Ascentium strives to be the premier provider of customized finance programs that add value to our customers' businesses.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strives to provide exceptional customer experience
  • Meets and exceeds monthly quota goals on a consistent basis
  • Generates and develops new business
  • Understands the reason to buy from a client perspective
  • Prepares and presents your point of view around a customized client solution, with confidence, to a diverse customer base in a competitive landscape
  • Maintains and nurtures existing business relationships
  • Manage the full sales cycle for products and services
  • Uncovers client’s decision-making process, while maintaining skillful tactics to get through gatekeepers with reliable follow through
  • Prepare quotes and negotiates when appropriate
  • Maintains advanced understanding of all product offerings and effectively communicates the benefits of these products to customers

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of commercial, small business, equipment financing or related inside sales experience may substitute for a degree

Preferences

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and other applicable sales tools

  • Ability to manage multiple and consistently evolving priorities

  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
