About the Position:

Build outstanding experiences with Juniper-Mist technologies. We are in a new era of API-first, enterprise-grade Wired and Wireless services with AI backbone. Are you ready to take advantage of it? Juniper-Mist is looking for an UI / API Quality Assurance Engineer with two or more years of experience to join our CSQA team. You will learn Mist products and be responsible for UI and API staging smoke testing and validating production; discussing with our developers to understand software functional specs; working with the lead to continuously improve test plans and expand test cases; work with the customer success team to solve and fix real life issues; and write detailed documentation of the product for customers to reference.

Responsibilities:

• UI and API QA - Understand the Mist UI and API architecture to be able to fix and improve the current design and to be able to make the Mist UI and API more robust for future improvements that lead to better user experiences. Address UI and API issues with developers on the Mist team to go to for assistance to expedite fixes when bugs occur. Testing, validating, reporting bugs and bring quality assurance to the table with your stamp.
• Test Plans - Work with product marketing, software development teams to review design specification, develop, and implement test topologies and test cases based on functional specifications. Execute regression test cases, report in the bug tracking system, debug the problems/issues effectively and follow up with the respective engineering teams for issue resolutions. Possess outstanding problem solving skills in the diagnosis and resolution of issues
• Documentation - Continuously integrate and develop the QA documentation, white papers, and user guides.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1~3 years experience in UI and API.
• Familiarity with JSON and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and debugging.
• Comfortable working with different teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge in Python is a plus.
• Knowledge in networking related technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge in machine learning is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Other Information:

• One day every two weeks is required to work night shift.
• Join team meeting twice a week in late or early hours to accommodate US schedule.
• Relocation is available for this position.
