Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Juniper Security’s SASE roadmap to deliver a cutting edge and industry leading solution
- Lead Security hardware and virtual infrastructure teams, as well as Crypto Services to deliver features driving 100M+ USD revenue
- Work extremely effectively across organizational boundaries and provide expertise to the business unit leadership on issues of technology, engineering complexity, security, and development timeframes.
- Build a world class software development environment where the engineering community can truly do its best work with state of the art optimized tools that meet the current and future needs of the business.
- Balance difficult tradeoffs between short term deliverables with long term architectural initiatives in an environment with many competing priorities.
- Enable world-class talent acquisition, development and retention. Develop leadership and technical talent along management and technical ladders.
- Drive a highly productive and execution-oriented culture.
- Establish relationship with customers and partners.
Personal Qualifications:
- Extensive Security engineering track record in innovation, delivering high quality complex products, and sustaining development of products for extended periods of time. Able to work and thrive in a fast paced and technical culture.
- Broad, deep and up-to-date knowledge of modern software test, development, and release best practices.
- Engineering depth, technical domain expertise in Security
- Excellent listening skills and ability to synthesize multiple points of view to develop an effective, implementable point of view.
- Ability to bridge technical-business divides.
- Strong customer and peer relationship skills.
- Excellent communication and motivation skills.
- Experience with establishing and managing remote/offshore teams.
- Strong budget and resource planning skills.
- MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science desired.
