Networking Feature Development Software Team is looking for you to work on L2/L3 software, customer interaction for QFX series of switches(QFX Series 10GbE/25G/50G/40
/100GbE switches are high-performance, low-latency, 1 and 2 U edge devices that are optimized for virtualized data center environments) in JDI Switching division. The job
involves development and sustenance of L2/L3 features, handling of customer critical issues and championing high quality along with precise handling business priorities.
Responsibilities:
Develop the packet forwarding features such as L2/L3, MPLS, Multicast, Routing, Firewall, QoS and next generation tunneling protocols.
Develop networking applications in object-oriented paradigm using the latest open source tools.
Assist in solving complex customer issues and customer reported real world networking problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing object-oriented networking applications in C/C++/Python. Exposure to routing/forwarding software would be a plus.
In-depth understanding of packet forwarding, operating systems internals, algorithms, and computer architecture.
Some prior work/project experience in these areas is desirable.
BS in CS/EE is required
MS degree is a plus.
