ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.
• Returns the merchandise to the proper location after stokers gather what is needed.
• Assists the receiving staff by placing the merchandise in the proper location throughout the warehouse using a RF scanner.
• Securely closes the boxes and affixes the appropriate labels to them.
• Assist stockers as needed
• May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to read and understand basic English is a plus
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations, and other employees of the company
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals is required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Computer Skills – Basic data entry
• Certificates & Licenses
• Current Forklift Driver Certificate
• Types of equipment used: Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, Turret, Electric Pallet Jack, Stand Up Lift

EDUCATION/EXPERINCE:

• High School or equivalent
• 6-12 Months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REASONING ABILITY:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
