Quiksilver

This is a 6 month fixed term opportunity with possibility of extension.

THE CHALLENGE

As Product Developer, you will coordinate the development of garments and fabrics from design to supplier delivery. You’ll be a super-organiser, using Excel and PLM software to drive each garment through the production processes. Working within the vertical design team you will liaise with our overseas factories & sourcing office, working across multiple seasons at once to ensure seasonal calendar deadlines are met.

This is a true all-rounder position, giving you breadth of exposure across all facets of the design process. This position works across our vertical brands including Long Lost, Nunui, Spare and VonZipper. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Practical experience in a garment technician or product developer role, ideally with exposure to a range of categories including swim
• Exceptional knowledge of product construction, development and fit
• Advanced administration skills with the ability to manage your own workload
• Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop is desirable
• Experience of computer systems and databases including the MS Office suite (PLM/SAP desirable)
