SUMMARY:

This person will be charged with co-creating and executing the regional marketing plan, drive demand creation and localization initiatives in AMS.

He/She will have to apply the Global Marketing Strategy and GTM plans on the markets he has the responsibility of working closely with the Global Marketing Team and the following Regional teams : Merchandising, E-com, Wholesale, Retail, trade-marketing, sustainability committee teams.

The position of Country Marketing Manager demands an individual who is action oriented and who has an ability to think strategically and who has a passion for tactical and detailed marketing execution. In this position the Country Marketing Manager is responsible for the generation of revenue through the provision of efficient and effective brand marketing programs.

The Country Marketing Manager is responsible for driving awareness, acquisition, and retention. He/She delivers this thorough the launch of multifunctional go-to brand marketing strategies for promotion of the brand/business within the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing insight that shapes the strategic marketing plan to support the growth of the business
  • As guided by the Global Marketing Director, provide country insights and recommendations to other regional marketing functions as to ensure strategic alignment & integration within the AMS.
  • Work with country / sub-region non-marketing business units to ensure strategic alignment & integration.
  • Work closely with Global Marketing Director and Country Sales Lead in the development of country marketing plans.
  • Facilitate internal marketing communication across business functions in AMS.
  • Work with regional brand marketing team to adapt the global brand marketing strategy for AMS.
  • Collaborate with the country sales team to support image accounts.
  • Work with regional trade marketing to provide suggested guidance for execution of campaign across E-com, retail, and wholesale channels.
  • Work with digital marketing lead to align localized execution of digital marketing strategy in market.
  • Be the ‘brand voice’ of the region within global meetings & forums.
  • Work with Brand Lead in development & implementation of the GTM plan for AMS, in accordance with the global guidelines & strategy.
  • Work with regional marketing functions units to ensure strategic alignment + integration across the country/ sub-region.
  • Work with country / sub-region non-marketing business units to ensure strategic alignment & integration across the region.
  • Submit budget recommendations during yearly planning process aligned to global strategy.
  • Participate in all country planning + budgeting.
  • Oversight of brand marketing SG&A tracking, analysis & reporting at a country / Sub-region level
  • Manage the Sport Marketing activation for AMS
  • Execute Communication plans on his territories to connect the brand with our targeted audience and consumers

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Sales, or related business function
  • 5+ years’ experience in Marketing function
  • Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills (Adobe Suites is a plus)
  • Experience in the country and its sub region of relevance
  • Experience with for understanding of skateboarding, outdoor, Street Culture, apparel industry in youth culture segment
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills: highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects
