SUMMARY:
The Email Specialist is responsible for the development, planning, segmentation, scheduling and analysis of all email campaigns. As a seasoned member of the digital factory team, this person will be responsible for developing copy, managing, validating, sending, and tracking all customer-facing emails and work closely with various cross-functional teams including brand marketing and design. The ideal candidate is someone with interest and experience in email marketing, strong e-commerce background, has coded responsive emails using HTML, strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently handle a very busy schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate & execute email communications programs. Ensure accurate and on-time campaign delivery
- Create/write email campaign messaging consistent with company brand
- Support various divisions to create calendars and set and manage project time lines
- Partner with various teams to compile assets, write briefs and traffic emails through the routing and approval process
- Collaborate with design team to produce relevant digital assets
- Code responsive email campaigns
- Build database workflows to segment contacts into logical groups, segments, etc.
- Execute database growth strategies across multiple channels
- Create campaign messaging consistent with company brand
- Analyze and report campaign results and KPIs, highlighting successes, trends and opportunities, including A/B testing
- Cross-channel CRM coordination and execution including but not limited to: email, SMS, and catalog
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
- 3-5 years’ web content and email management including trafficking and copywriting
- Working knowledge of HTML and ability to build HTML emails
- Working knowledge of Adobe photoshop that includes but not limited to: slicing for web
- Experience working with an email platform in a self-service setting
- Great knowledge of fashion, lifestyle, and extreme sports Influencers and publishers
- Passion for the sports lifestyle (Surf, Skate, Snowboard)
- Proficient in web analytics tools such as; Adobe Analytics (Omniture) and Google Analytics
- Proficient in project management tools such as; Asana, Trello, Clickup, etc
- Very strong organization, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management skills and ability to align efforts across multiple departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google’s Suite of products including: Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Campaign/Neolane and/or leading ESP on an enterprise level, Klayvio
