Be a part of a dynamic and cooperative team that supports Risk Management. We are a department that is constantly incorporating new technology into our toolset. We support both vendor and custom, proprietary applications.
A typical day will consist of:
- Designing and developing shared applications as well as unique solutions for each application
- Developing requirements and design documents that meet business objectives
- Enhancing critical interface applications that support the business area
- Open communication with the business area, vendors, and other technical teams
- Troubleshooting and supporting vendor applications and daily business processes
- Performing database analysis and data analytics
We are seeking a technical candidate that can develop quality applications following best practices and has experience troubleshooting applications and complex systems. This position includes performing systems analysis, presenting recommendations, coding in C# and SQL, documentation, and implementing applications through the development lifecycles. The candidate should be able to perform in multiple roles over multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, and cross-system interdependencies, and scalability
- Minimum 4 years designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, service-oriented architecture and solution frameworks
- Minimum 4 years of development experience with the .NET framework, C#, and VB.NET
- Minimum of 4 years of experience coding in SQL
- Experience with applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, responsive web and JavaScript
- Ability to engage with other teams and acquire technical knowledge to solve business problems
- Experience in large enterprise environments involving multiple technical teams
- Understanding and deep respect for SOX, HIPPA, and PCI regulations and guidelines

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating and using APIs and Web Services
- Full-stack development experience with the .NET framework 4.5 or above including C#, MVC, and Kendo
- Experience with NODE.JS and Twilio Flex
- Experience with project planning and system development lifecycle
- Experience with Azure DevOps, TFS and Octopus Deploy

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
