Merritt Hawkins, the nation’s leading academic search firm, invites you to consider an opportunity to join a growing Department of Psychiatry at a well-respected medical school in Virginia. We are seeking a Director of Inpatient Psychiatry.
The Director of Inpatient Psychiatry will report to the Vice Chair of Psychiatry and will oversee 36 adult inpatient beds at an academic medical center. The Director of Inpatient Psychiatry will meet the demands of increasing regulatory compliance, drive to high reliability and best practice, and use of evidence-based practice, and leadership in support of skilled inpatient-focused Psychiatrists.
This is a faculty position that will also have protected time for education and clinical administration and appointment at the appropriate academic level.
