Position Summary

The HR Coordinator handles a variety of HR related administrative duties within a tight-knit and high performing HR team, who sit centrally to service all brands within the Mediabrands portfolio. The HR coordinator manages our end-to-end employer sponsored visa program and is the first point of call for all HR queries.

Job Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all HR related queries.
  • Liaising with the HR Manager & HR Director on queries relating to their brands.
  • Effectively support candidates during onboarding stage to ensure a timely and quality experience.
  • Generate contracts, background checks, manage new starter documentation.
  • Contribute to the brands People & Culture projects relating to employee experience.
  • End to end management of the employer sponsored visa program.
  • Work in partnership with the Payroll team on new starters, employee variations & exits.
  • Preparing Employment variation letters and other ad-hoc documentation.
  • Initiate exit interviews and report on themes.
  • Manage the central HR inbox and respond to all queries in the allocated timeframe.
  • Support the implementation of key projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the roll out of new HR initiatives, processes etc.
  • Support the roll out new HR software.
  • Clerks Award employees onboarding, training and reporting.
  • Support the development of enhancing our employee experience both centrally & in the brands.
  • Develop new HR policies and processes where required and updating existing policies.
  • Collaborate with Talent team to support the focus on attracting, retaining and development top talent.
  • Work with the HR Manager on projects (e.g., Workplace, Clerks, Flexibility, HR Audits)

Desired Skills & Experience

A HR professional with 1-2 years’ experience with a contemporary and flexible approach to HR:

  • Similar experience in a HR Coordinator role in a highly regulated HR environment.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and manage expectations within tight timeframes.
  • Ability to work well under pressure whilst upholding high standards.
  • Ability to liaise, mediate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport, interact effectively at all levels and provide support and advice.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Forward thinking and collaborative.
