Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
Remote Banking & Shared Services (RBSS ) provides Enterprise services and solutions that drive banking experiences for CIBC's personal and small business banking clients by putting our clients at the center of all that we do. As a Consultant, Application Development you will be responsible for detailed technical design, integration and development of applications using LINUX/JBOSS based technology platforms as well as the enhancement and support of existing applications. You will focus on Fraud Application Development, using J2EE, JSON and Python programing languages.
This role comprises of approximately 50% Java and/or ASP .Net programing , 15 % documentations, 20% planning and coordinating and 15% client-server integration and support for Quality Assurance.
How You’ll Succeed
- Full Stack Java Development - Build microservices to interfaces with Fraud applications. Perform complex applications programming activities; Code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify complex Java, JSON and Python based applications programs. Work with PKI Technology and other related secure communication protocols such as SSL, SSH, FTPS, SFPT.
- DevOps - Use of DevOps to automate Code deployment and installation – GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, CaaS, UCD, Docker Images.
- Document requirements - Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interface with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
Who You Are
- You can demonstrate 5+ years of experience in full stack java programming using JSON and Python on LINUX/JBOSS/Tomcat platform; experience and understanding on ORACLE RDBMS: tables, views, triggers, indexes, functions, stored procedures as well as experience developing Shell scripting using Korn shell. You posses solid knowledge of JBOSS, ORACLE, LINUX, TCPIP, Sockets, Communication protocols, SSH, SSL, FTPS, SFTP, XML. It is an asset if you have DevOps experience - to automate Code deployment and installation – GitHUB, Jenkins, Artifactory, CaaS, UCD, Docker Images.
