Position purpose:
The purpose of this role is to enable talent development and performance aimed at supporting the business strategy as well as ensuring the right and balanced leadership talent pipeline is represented across the business. The role will work with an employee centric approach to ensure talent solutions are simple, easy, and effective. Partnering closely with the TM community to ensure the talent principles are understood and we are driving the TransfoHRm mindset. This individual will be a key partner to drive change and continuous improvement to the new talent management processes.
The main responsibilities are:
- Support development of an internal pipeline of balanced profiles prepared for leadership roles and short list for band D roles.
- Drive leadership transformation in development programs such as LeAD UP (Band C&D), Global Mentoring, and others to prepare Talents for future roles. Ensure programs provide the right level of expected return in terms of impact and quality.
- Assist with 360 feedback programming for the LeAD UP Band C&D programs.
- Co-design, deploy and manage, through our global HRIS tool, TM practices delivering a consistent and world class employee experience.
- Steer the Talent cycle in the markets aligned with global timelines, communicate and follow up on campaigns. Understand all the connections and integration points through the entire talent cycle with Workday by working in close collaboration with the HR Digital Transformation team on all aspects of the Perf assessment processes.
- Responsible for overseeing the Global Performance & Merit calendar in close collaboration with the Compensation and HRIS team
- Responsible for all Performance Processes (Year-End Review, Goal Setting, Mid-Year Check Point)- deployment of training materials, work closely with affiliates for new considerations in the performance process.
- As an agent of change, consult, coach, train and partner with HRBPs to ensure an effective and high-quality execution of talent Development strategies in a consistent manner, embedding a development mindset throughout the organization.
- Responsible for maintaining the job catalogue and oversee the job banding processes for Band C + roles. Ensuring compliance at affiliate level and process is understood by HR Community. Provide ongoing training as needed.
- Responsible for creating & implementing a Global Talent Acquisition strategy that is consistent and aligned with our Talent Management ambition in close collaboration with the HRIS team
- Partner closely with Global HR Engagement Manager and Digital Change Manager to roll out change initiatives creating awareness and driving adoption of processes and tool.
- Champion and animate global internal communities, i.e. Job banding, Job catalogue, Talent Attraction, and others.
- Partner with Heads of Programs at PRU to ensure talent needs are considered in the programs offered and provide input into future programs/solutions, i.e. global onboarding. Recommend development initiatives to shift mindsets and behavioral change, enhance performance and drive inclusive culture.
- Surveys/Evaluations: on going evaluation of programs to ensure continuous improvement based on program objectives and impact.
- Lead specific talent initiatives and projects in line with key business requirements.
- In partnership with GTM team serve as an active liaison working with the affiliates as needed to support D&I integration opportunities.
- Budget management: tracking, maintaining, PO invoice process, recharging, vendor management.
- As a key resource to support global development initiatives the role will be certified in several processes to assist with deployment, i.e. 360 feedback, internal assessors, Coaching.
- On a rotational basis maintain GTM global calendar.
- Engage with the YAC Community and follow up plans.
The profile required is:
- A master’s degree in human resources or talent management a plus
- 7+ years of experience in a senior HR role. Previous human resources, talent management / organizational development experience preferred.
- Solid HR experience with proven ability to shape and deliver a talent strategy
- Strong analytic orientation – brings insights and trends from data
- Can generate insights and recommendations based on analysis and prioritize plans accordingly
- Project Management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, remains flexible in a demanding work environment, and adapts to rapidly changing priorities
- Strong external radar, in particular on emerging talent development trends
- Systematic approach to talent management and development and able to assess how processes are linked and interconnected
- Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing with issues, problems, and events that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place in a global context
- Ability to communicate and influence at many levels internally and externally
- Flow of work is both tactical and strategic – ability to determine what gets done first and why, while managing a more long-term plan.
- Advanced working experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations as needed to convey talent management and development information to HRBP and business leaders in a succinct manner
