Supply Chain Planner
Michelin, the Worldwide leader in Tires, is hiring!
- Create and review monthly Reorder Reports by product line to determine sizes and quantities to order from the factory based on forecast input and special requests from branch and product managers.
- Review monthly order status report from the factory to make sure that orders placed match orders that have been accepted/rejected.
- Review weekly order status report from the factory.
- Weekly review of RT schedules and coordination of factory shipments to cover production needs.
- Execute the monthly GAP order cycle per the US Supply Chain calendar.
- Communicate shipment priorities to the factory to meet customer requested ship dates and avoid stock outs at branch locations.
- Review and place direct customer orders with factory.
- Loading new part numbers into SAP or adding branch/DC to a part number.
- Relay information from factory to CSR's.
- Review and make adjustments to forecast.
- Make a needed corrections with factory due orders.
- Participate in monthly US Sales and Operations planning meeting.
- Provide reports for data requests as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the US Supply Chain Manager.
