e-Commerce is a significant growth engine for consumers in the USA and Canada. As a member of the Retail National Account team, the e-Commerce Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and supporting our e-Commerce strategy and significantly growing our sales & profits through online channels.
This position is responsible for defining and executing an accelerated sales growth plan for Amazon, TheHomeDepot.com and other internet retailers, primarily within the Retail channel. He/she partners closely with other cross functional teams (Marketing, Product & Market Management in Retail and other Channels, Supply Chain, Customer Service…) to define product portfolios & pricing strategies, get our products optimally listed on online platforms and maximize sales revenues, through advertising and promotions. He/she monitors and reports on sales and marketing activities and results.
Reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, USA & Canada, the e-Commerce Business Development Manager is empowered and expected to work efficiently across internal Channels & departments and to advocate internally for SGA’s best capabilities in the e-Commerce space, identifying e-Commerce marketplace requirements and prioritizing our business gaps against them. Through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, he/she develops solutions and agile plans to accelerate our online “readiness”.
This position plays a unique and defining role in shaping SGA’s presence online and developing new revenues streams for the business, with a strong Retail / DIYer focus.
The incumbent must have a strong work ethic, an ability to define and implement complex business strategies and be an active team player.
Ideally, the incumbent will be based in/near Worcester, MA, but will consider anyone residing in the United States.
