Guest Experience at McArthurGlen

Fixed Term Contract - 4 Months and 30 Hours Per Week 

At McArthurGlen our Guest Services teams are the face of the organisation, making extraordinary moments of happiness for the millions of guests who visit our centres. They are our connoisseurs of excellence, delivering our mission to create the finest retail experiences. Our Guest teams are given the freedom to be creative and make every guest feel special, providing an exceptional, bespoke service to them.

As part of Guest Services at McArthurGlen, you will work in a dynamic retail environment where no two days are the same. You’re the perfect host and love to go above and beyond for guests. You will thrive on being part of something extraordinary, working at a fast pace and enjoying the variety of your working day. You’ll use your initiative to make things happen.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Work as part of the team in our Guest Services area in the centre, meet and greet guests, dealing with any queries and resolving any issues that arise
  • Adopt the ‘Everyone Leaves Happy’ culture, always taking on a positive, proactive and professional approach
  • Promote additional products and services while meeting targets and providing a positive experience to our guest
  • Respond to face to face, email and social media feedback, building rapport and representing the McArthurGlen brand
  • All administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner e.g. online gift card order
  • Take ownership and maintain McArthurGlen’s high standards across the Guest Service area to ensure it is welcoming, well-organised and stocked with guest and brand information
  • Work collaboratively with the team, always ensuring the guest is at the heart of everything we do

You will…

  • Be passionate about providing the best possible guest experience, going above and beyond to ensure the guest is at the heart of everything we do
  • Have great interpersonal skills and be able to adapt these to the situation and the guest
  • Able to solve problems and put yourself in the shoes of the guest
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, able to write responses along with our guidelines
  • Possess good IT skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • You must have fluent English as well as local language skills
  • Have flexibility in your working hours to cover the full trading hours of the Centre on a rota basis
